02Data We Process

Account data (email, password hash, API key) and usage data (operation counts, request logs including IP address and user agent, billing history). Uploaded images are held in memory only for the duration of processing and are not stored on our servers.

To create and manage your account

To deliver the service and track usage limits

To run billing and payment processes

To keep the service secure and prevent abuse

04Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed on the grounds that it is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, and on the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5).

05Transfers

Your data may be shared with payment, email and server infrastructure providers to the extent necessary to deliver the service.

On public pages we use a cookieless visitor analytics tool provided by a company located outside Türkiye. Through it, the address of the page visited, the referring site, your browser language, screen resolution and page title are sent to that provider along with your IP address; this constitutes a cross-border transfer under Article 9 of KVKK. Legal basis: the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK art. 5/2-f).

AI image operations (background removal, AI upscaling, colorize, face restore, photo restore and object removal) are carried out by an infrastructure service provider located outside Türkiye. Your image is therefore transferred abroad so the operation can be performed; this constitutes a cross-border transfer under Article 9 of KVKK (Law No. 6698).

Your image is used solely to perform the operation you requested, is never used for model training, and is deleted by that provider shortly after processing. A current list of the service providers we transfer data to is available on request from privacy@theglitch.app.

06Contact Form Data

Data processed: name, email address, company name (optional), subject, message content, IP address and browser information.

Purpose: to answer your request and to prevent abuse of the form.

Legal basis: the legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK art. 5/2-f).

Retention: IP address and browser information are erased after 90 days; the record is destroyed in full after 12 months.

07Retention Period

Data is kept while your account is active and for any retention periods required by law. If you request deletion of your account and data, your request is completed within 30 days at the latest. Request and access logs may be retained beyond that period where security or legal obligations require it.
