01General

We process your images in seconds: resize, convert, remove backgrounds, AI upscale, colorize — 14 different operations. Reach it through the web panel, API or MCP.
Ad agencies prepare bulk campaign visuals, e-commerce teams remove product photo backgrounds, designers automate social media sizes, developers build API integrations.
Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF — plus TIFF and AVIF on paid plans. Output: JPG, PNG, WebP — plus TIFF and AVIF on paid plans. Ask for GIF output and you get PNG. BMP is not supported.
25 MB. For larger files, get in touch.
No. Your image is held in memory only for the duration of processing; it is not stored on our servers and is not kept in any image library. AI operations run through an infrastructure service provider located outside Türkiye; your image is used solely for the operation you requested, is never used for training, and is deleted shortly after processing. For security we keep only a request record (timestamp, endpoint, IP address) — never your image.

02Billing

4 plans: Free (500 ops/mo · $0), Starter (15,000 · $12), Pro (75,000 · $39), Business (300,000 · $99). Details: Pricing page.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade instantly from your dashboard. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect on your next invoice.
Annual billing cannot be selected self-service in the panel right now; subscriptions are taken monthly. If you need annual billing, write to support@theglitch.app.
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Local payment options for Türkiye are coming later.
Enter it at checkout: after you pick a plan, type it into the Promo code field on the payment summary and hit Apply. The discount is reflected on that same screen.
Cancelling does not issue a refund automatically. If you cancel at the end of the period, your plan stays active until that date. For a refund, contact us: every request is reviewed individually and, if approved, returned in full or in part to your original payment method.

03Technical

Every API call or panel action is one operation. Resize + format conversion + watermark count as a single operation as long as they're in one request.
AI operations (background removal, upscaling, colorize, face/photo restore, object removal) use a separate quota. Each AI call deducts 1 from your AI quota.
There is no per-minute rate limit — what bounds you is your monthly quota. When it runs out, requests return 429 with REQUEST_QUOTA_EXCEEDED (quick transforms) or GPU_QUOTA_EXCEEDED (AI). Quotas reset on the 1st of each month (UTC), not on your billing cycle. Your remaining counts are in the response headers.
Keep the key server-side only. If you use it client-side (browser), others can see it. For production use .env or a secret manager (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.).
Not yet. Webhooks for long-running AI results are on our roadmap; we'll announce it in the changelog. For now the result comes back in the response itself — every endpoint returns synchronously.
200 success · 400 bad parameter · 401 missing/invalid key · 403 your plan does not include AI transforms (GPU_NOT_AVAILABLE) or the feature is disabled (FEATURE_DISABLED) · 408 the request exceeded its time budget · 413 the body exceeded the server limit · 422 the AI model could not process the image (permanent) · 429 monthly quota exhausted (REQUEST_QUOTA_EXCEEDED / GPU_QUOTA_EXCEEDED) or a temporary throttle (GPU_BUSY / SERVER_BUSY) — see the Retry-After header · 500 server · 503 a temporary fault on the AI side (GPU_ERROR / GPU_UPLOAD_FAILED) — retryable. Quota exhaustion is 429, not 403.

04MCP & API

Model Context Protocol — an open standard for AI assistants to call external services (including theGlitch). Details: MCP page.
Any client that supports the MCP spec: Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue, Cline, Zed and newly added clients.
No. MCP calls draw from your regular REST API quota. The channel doesn't matter — your total monthly limit is the same.
No. The MCP server uses the same API key you create in your dashboard. One key covers both the REST API and MCP.
Yes. Give the assistant a list ("resize these 20 images"). The assistant calls one by one and collects the results.

05Account

On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password?". A reset link is sent to your email; the link is valid for 1 hour.
Not from the panel yet — your address is shown read-only under Settings → Profile. Write to support@theglitch.app from the address on the account and we'll move it for you.
There is no self-service deletion screen yet. Email privacy@theglitch.app from the address on the account and we'll delete the account, your API keys and your data within 30 days. Images are never stored, so there is nothing to delete there.
Not yet. Sign-in is email + password, or Google/GitHub. Two-factor authentication is on our roadmap — until then use a strong, unique password and keep your API key server-side.
